This memorial is another example of how she strong-arms the government to get what she wants. None of the local TV news stations showed what was printed on the memorial. Getting her anti-war message onto a memorial that is meant to recognize the people who died on 9/11 is a back handed slap in the face of Arizona residents. I guess she would be ok if her tombstone read "Here lies Janet Napolitano. She wasn't a very good Governor, but she was governor nonetheless". This reminds me of her changing the name of a local mountain and expressway after a fallen soldier without waiting the 5 year grace period after the person has died:
